The new owner of this cafe wanted a cost-effective fitout that would transform the existing, eclectic fitout to a 'Moulin Rouge in Motueka' style of bar, without frightening off the existing local patrons but also attracting a wider range of visitors and locals alike.

A long standing restaurant in Christchurch, the owners wanted to continue with the brasserie cafe style, but create a more functional back-of-counter, incorporate more of a bar prescence for patrons, and add a few design details that would enhance the brasserie experience.

Our clients wanted to turn this 90s style suburban bar and cafe into a stylish, modern restaurant and bar.  Fitout came up with schemes for the interior, exterior garden bar, and even convinced the landlord to paint the entire exterior - he liked the colours so much!
